[1973] Julie Christie, Donald Sutherland
directed by: Nicolas Roeg
Great thriller with excellent performances by Christie and Sutherland. Beautifully filmed in Venice during the winter when the city looks almost deserted, giving it a very haunted feel. The atmosphere of the whole movie is creepy and you just don't know what's going to happen next. |

[1981] David Naughton, Jenny Agutter
directed by: John Landis
A classic horror movie that mixes both gore and humor perfectly to create a wonderful movie that still holds up today. For 1981 the special effects are terrific, both of the werewolf transformation and the undead that haunt Naughton's character. Agutter is fantastic and beautiful as the werewolfs love interest. This is highly recommended for any horror movie buff, or movie buff in general. |

[1997] Tom Everett Scott, Julie Delpy
directed by: Anthony Waller
What a horrible movie! Not even close to the original in either horror or comedy, with way to much of a 90's pop culture feel(i.e. bungee jumping). The special effects were fine but could of been better, and the whole movie was just flat. Bad acting, even the wonderful Julie Delpy was subpar, and very little plot cause this movie to be quickly forgotton and definitely not recommended. |

[1983] Catherine Deneuve, David Bowie
Susan Sarandon, directed by: Tony Scott
First of all it's a beautifully filmed movie, and well directed by Tony Scott with great performances, especially Bowie who was better than expected. But the film has little to no plot, and is as slow as syrup on a cold day. Don't get me wrong, it's worth seeing, both for the different and interesting take on a vampire movie, and the great sex scene with sarandon and deneuve. Just be prepared to fall asleep. |

[1992] Timothy Balme, Diana Peñalver
directed by: Peter Jackson
Awesome movie! The Goriest I have ever seen, Jackson must of hade a blast making this one. If you love silly, campy, gorey horror movies like Evil Dead or From Dusk till Dawn, you'll love this movie. The final scene with the lawnmower is classic! |
